The Mersey Margins Comic Collective Fair’s (MMCC) mission is to give young marginalised artists a chance to hear from professional artists and learn about what it's like to be a Creative in the north. I was invited to talk about my experience of the communityI have found through art. I also offered advice for those looking to start their own collectives or get more involved in their local creative communities. More than anything, I wanted to help attendees see what community looks like in the art and give them the confidence to start connecting with artists across the UK.
